Synopsis
After a two-phase TMI management training and another two-phase training for all employees in the course of one year, the results speak for themselves:
* Energy level increased by 4.8%
* Quality increased by 30.7%
* Productivity increased by 82.5%
The Problem
Inadequate effectiveness on middle management level and too high employee turnover.
The Solution
In January 2000 TMI conducted a basic management training programme for all managers in this company.
This training was followed up by an Employeeship seminar with Energy Meter survey for all employees, including feedback meetings and action plans.
Six months later, a seminar day was held for all employees dealing with the concepts of “A complaint is a gift” and “Service Quality”.
In January 2001 a management training for all managers was conducted, dealing with the themes of employee development, appraisal interviews and coaching.
The Outcomes
During the period from the survey in April 2000 to the survey in March 2001 the following results were achieved:
- Energy level increased by 4.8%
- Quality increased by 30.7%
- Productivity increased by 82.5%
